Two of our next 3 games are must wins. If we lose to both Dewsbury and Workington away, which is eminently possible as they aren’t mugs, we are down. If we win one but lose the other we are odds on to go down. If it was me I’d be looking to recruit RIGHT NOW. We’ve gone through half of the season and to paraphrase BobDylan you don’t need a weatherman to see which way the wind blows.

If we go down all these pipe dreams about annual matches in Kent are eye wash. It’s a false economy surely to leave the squad as is and hope for the best. Very difficult to see what the club have been/ are trying to achieve. Can only conclude their assumptions and thinking was catastrophically wrong.

Toxic Brand is how I'd describe the Broncos now.
Even if they were bought by a billionaire, they'd need to spend 3 times on marketing than they would on a SL standard squad and as Toronto have shown, once free entry and the beer festival have to be paid for, the "love of the game" vanishes.
Sad to say, I can only see 1 win in 3 and certain relegation. Dewsbury are no easybeats at theirs so only Town are a possible win, whilst York is a non starter, although I was surprised by their loss to fax.
As for us ...down by the end of August and I suspect crowds in the 2 or 3 hundreds.....and NOTHING from the club in the way of "where we are in our 5 year plan" because they ran of fag packets to write past month 3 :DRUNK:
Skolars have a big few days ahead.....I'd hope many broncos fans will get to their Friday shindig before the final before they head into the west to try and ensure they don't finish last in the 3rd tier.

The positive noises about an annual game in Kent are just a smokescreen for the fact we are once again at a ground where we can't play at home while the landlords maintain the pitch. Who knows if the club is trying to recruit but it is obvious we need to.

Gus Mackay we salute you!!

In real terms, Hughes has used covid to wash his hands of responsibility
2018 full time wages Championship
2019 Full time wages SL added income.
2020 full time wages season cut short gov subbed wages.
2021 full time wages curtailed income

2022. For no logical reason, part time, talk of SL ground needed, move to Wimbledon, recruit from Skolars, say nothing.........

.....as I said, if Skolars lose in Cornwall, Hughes will have totally f783d London pro RL inside 5 months.

Unfortunately I can't see Skolars winning in Cornwall.

100% down to Hughes.
Well. He will get to face the music next year when we play at Skolars and he has to sit with his fellow directors.
I'm in awe of his arrogance at present. He's watching the club he supposedly love die in front of him and because he made the decisions, he's ploughing on regardless.

I’ve always assumed he must as otherwise why invest so much time and effort but I do wonder if he is why something hasn’t been done.

Maybe he accepts this is a write off year and as long as we stay up so be it. But that is beginning to look very much in doubt so he must be worried and asking those he has put in place to come up with some strategies. I hope they come up with them soon.

He was at the Dewsbury game, I saw him there. No idea about any of the other games though.

Was he not out of the country for a while? Given the gold lounge sold out for Newcastle, surely someone here must have seen him or are we all "TIGHT" old whingers on the internet.....
I've still seen no photo evidence of people in the gold lounge...just 2 snaps of an empty room on the website.
He appointed a sh17 coach, gave him sh17 money and is now having to watch his sh17 club play sh17 rugby in front of sh17 crowds in a stadium 90%+ empty
