The thing about the club raffle was, that they wanted the LBSA to sell their raffle tickets for them among the crowd.
The late Alfie, who was the main 50/50 seller, refused and nobody else volunteered, which is why they were only sold in the hospitality.

Just another baffling decision by the club. They will no doubt save a room for Hughes at St Mary of Bethlehem's.

Good to see Broncos Ladies appear alive & well & due to compete in the Northern Championship. Should give them better competition & a better shot at WSL.

Good luck to the ladies. It's a jump in standard which is only way they will improve. Hopefully they can compete and not be at the end of too many big scores. Good to see the expansion of the ladies game.

Given that they narrowly lost to Leigh in the Championship final who had won all 16 of their league fixtures & won the Northern Championship in a canter, I'm not sure they will be hammered by many, if any. Their biggest problem may be getting fit enough & being able to commit to a longer season. Over the last 2 seasons, they have the measure of Cardiff, so I wouldn't see them finishing bottom.
