Just like the Coleman days, the real problem is not the low number of players, although that is a massive problem, but the lack of a leader on the pitch, someone to direct us around the pitch. You will recall back then we were reduced to loaning in players for two week spells to do the job like Chisholm. One thing is for certain this season is going to be interesting….but frankly I’m dreading it.
As it stands, not finishing bottom is almost success. We've had horrid seasons before, who can forget 2014? We do however need a sugar daddy from somewhere because we will not increase our fans & income with a losing side.
