If I read it right the original contract Bill signed was null and void due to promotion! It's odd I k ow but I think all clubs and players have same issue. If he wants to play full time RL he has to do what is best for him, and with club and coach and who can develop him better, and terms eg pay has to come into it! Good luck to the lad, assuming he is going to get 1st team slot he is stepping into big shoes at no 9 up there.
I reckon HKR will be a good fit for him, more chance of game time and if he does well he could move on to the likes of Saints, Wigan or maybe the NRL.
