Organise a golf day! I see from the flyer on Twitter (X if you prefer) that it is £150pp or shock horror £450 for 3 people. Now that's what I call a discount.

If you pay the £450 for three you also get a London Broncos to play with you.

Maybe it will work, maybe it won’t. All in favour of them coming up with ideas. The marketing boys have time on their hands now the replica shirts have been done (almost?).

Let’s ‘spitball’ some additional money spinning ideas. Pre match raffle: “guess who will score Broncos first try”. If no one scores all money to the club- this benefits from rewarding our incompetence and enhances fans enjoyment of our spectacular inability to score by adding a financial reward to counteract the disappointment.

It’s as clear as mud. I assume what they are saying is we need 3 people to pay £450 and you get x,y and a and a rep (which I assume means player- bit of a choker if the kit man turns up)). Otherwise how does it work? I pay £150 because that what it says it is per person and two others pay for themselves and have to pay for the player. Or if you don’t want the ‘representative’ x number of people pay £150 for the game and a bacon roll and two course meal.. I’m spending too much time on this. I hate golf anyway!

Kinda agree with you BT. Not played anything golf related since launching several balls into the Atlantic from a pitch & putt course in the Gambia some time ago.

You can play that course for as little as £45 on a weekend, so £150 is a huge ask, especially given its a tuesday, meaning most of our players will be at their day jobs...

The club have picked the perfect golf club for the open day, as they both share the same business sense.One month after emailing the club about shirts no response.The golf club when i sent a cv off about a job they were offering which i had experience in, phoned me and asked about my age.When i told them i was 48, they responded" Oh sorry but we are really looking for younger people to make a team." I responded to the person on the phone that what he had said was age discrimination and to be totally honest I would not want to work for a dick like him. Totally unprofessional but totally deserved.

You can book a society day at the same club for £65 but you can get one less course on the lunch so it must be one hell of a dessert.
p.s better tell the club staff, no denim is allowed on the course.
