Lee Radford having left Hull FC following tonights game. Danny Wards name is being mentioned as a possible replacement. I do not think we have too much to worry about as I expect Hull FC to appoint an Aussie as their next coach. At some point a club will come knocking for Danny services. Will he be tempted ?

Without being funny what has Danny Ward actually achieved?
He took a full time team out of a semi pro league (a good win at Toronto to be fair)
He produced a relatively competitive team on a low budget in SL probably not much different to what Hudds and Wakey were spending but we still went down
This year the team looks light albeit early days
Hull are a big club who have ambition, is he the person to take them to where they want to be?

I think Danny Ward did a superb job in the last couple of seasons to produce a team that was way more than the sum of its parts and far exceeded expectations (especially to be fighting for a SL place right to the end of last season). I would not be surprised if he caught the eye of other clubs. However, can he repeat the feat with this sqaud which seems like it could be a different challenge ?
Reckon Danny ward in his time and with resources available has done a lot more than the previous coach. I doubt hull would seriously be looking at him though, well hope not still think he is doing a good couple of seasons left with us before he runs out of steam
I don’t know who could have done a better job here last season than Wardy.

It would be an excellent opportunity for the bloke and certainly a step up, would he have the skills to get them where they want to be? Who know mac achieved good stuff when he got catapulted into Leeds role, but that was with a very strong squad. If it gets offered to him good luck, I suspect they will be going for higher profile more experience at top level
I think Danny Ward's been brilliant for us over the last couple of seasons. It would be a shame to lose him.
That said, I think he and the Mrs are very settled down south. Lived there for a long time, even before he started coaching the Academy team IIRC. Would have to be a hell of a job to make a move under those circumstances - no doubt it will come along at some point but I'm not sure the current incarnation of Hull (big club though it is) is that job.
