London Broncos is delighted to announce the signing of exciting Sydney Roosters halfback, Brock Lamb, until the end of the 2019 season.
The 22 year old halfback joined the Sydney Roosters for the 2019 NRL season after having played for the Newcastle Knights since 2016. Rated as one of the bright up-and-coming halves in the game Lamb will add depth to the Broncos squad for what’s shaping up as an exciting end to the 2019 Super League season.
Lamb arrives in London with 33 NRL games under his belt while scoring 5 tries and 81 points for both Newcastle Knights and Sydney Roosters in the process.
Lamb wont be a stranger to the Broncos squad having played at Newcastle Knights with current Broncos second rower Luke Yates back in the NRL.
The talented Australian told us, “I’m really excited to be coming over and having a crack, it’s going to be awesome playing with Yates’s again. I can’t wait.”
Head Coach Danny Ward said, “We are excited to have Brock on board for the remainder of the season. With losing Morgan to injury and Jimmy Meadows picking up a decent ban, it left us a little short in this area and we needed to strengthen. Brock is a quality young half back who we hope will give the squad a boost going into the final phase of the season. He came with some decent raps from our people in Oz and is a former teammate of Yatesy, so I am sure he will fit right in.”
Chairman David Hughes told us, “I am delighted the club have been able to get the deal for Brock over the line as it is a big signing for us here in London. He comes with a NRL pedigree and I am sure our fans will be excited to see him play in this last part of the Super league season.”
Thoughts? A move some have been seeking, can he add something?

I have never heard of him but has good pedigree. Halves are now a position of need so it has to be a good signing. Just be interesting to see how fast he comes in to the side and if he's playing 6 or 7
