We just booked our flights to the Catalans game in June. We're now looking for recommendations for good places to stay. Tia

Try to get in the centre of town, there are a few places on outskirts, ibis f1 etc which are ok, but being somewhere near centre saves taxis etc. Hotels by train station are a bit of a walk into town and it’s a bit grotty up there.

Kyriad, mercure on bld wilson charge top prices, but there are a few round that area which are ok. Have done air b n b out there which was ok.

If you are going out of town, canet le plage is ok, bus is 1 Euro back into town but it’s prob 45 mins ride.

Angeles in France is class.

If you are flying to Girona in Spain try Figueres (Salvatore Dali home town) or the Costa towns.

Only 45 mins to Perpignan across the Alps and much cheaper than France.

Sorry predictive text that should be Argeles it's only 10 miles from Perpignan.

Figueres over the border is 25 miles but a good night out.
