Not the best first 40, but comfortable winin the end. We need to be disciplined against these lower ranked teams especially with away games coming up. Eddie aB’s sinbinning perfect example. Referee was pot, but we failed to play him which cost too many penalties and lost possession.
However decent win. Next few games decide the season. So - keep it simple, rule out errors, play the referee!
Penalty count 6 1 against us at half time, shocking to be honest. All legitimate and 4 for the same thing. So find the comment of “play the referee” interesting. Broncos don’t know how to do that, if the ref is hot on interference at ptb don’t bloody do it, second penalty should have learnt. More to the Point broncos don’t know how to win penalties. An offside player at marker or in the line is only offside if they get involved or effect the play, so spot them and run at them, broncos never do that. Quick ptb! Unless you are trying to get to your feet you are never going to get the penalty! Overall today, they were not a top 4 side today, Halifax will not wilt like Swinton did, and it will be a whole different game. Too many free mtrs, too much dropped ball. I think today they were disrespectful of the opposition early on.
