Ward is now in the spotlight for the wrong reasons. A number of us ( me included) doubted his appointment and it is now, when we have our backs to the wall that we need the coach to show his man management credentials......and area that Powell was found lacking in. As for the CC game at Leigh.....I disagree with NB......winning is a habit and we need to get back into that habit and fast. The ext 6 league games are ALL must win games now, including Leigh at Home, Toulouse in France and Toronto wherever is deemed appropriate by the RFL. A minimum of 10 points must be the target.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
We have to lose in the CC in one round, losing to Leigh by one score at their place much more palatable than getting tonked by saints or the like in the next round. CC is more of a distraction, finishing top4 more important. I have always said winnng is habit forming, but if I was to choose which game to lose it would be that game. So far we have been unconvincing on the road, after the game at Ealing, and seeing their other results, I reckon we will struggle to get within 20 points of Toulouse in Blackpool. (Its July we play em in France) Toronto, don’t know! Despite wins they don’t look convincing. Next 6 games of 12 points on offer, I reckon we will get possibly 8 most likely 6.

We can't afford to drop ore points to Leigh. I have no doubt that Toulouse and Toronto will drop points before we get to the Q's, but if we are to stand any chance of performing well in the Q's (should we get there) then 4 Home ties will be key...and Featherstone are looking well poised to lock in a top 4 spot as well, having only lost to us and Toronto.....we need that Sheffield game scheduled when it suits us as well, not before we face one of the bigger sides. 10 Points should be the target, 8 acceptable but less than that and we're in trouble.

10 points from 12 on offer with 3 of those games Toronto Toulouse and Leigh, not a chance. Leigh at Vallis road maybe, like I say can’t see us getting anywhere near Toulouse, Toronto if it’s played in Canada again not a chance, if it’s played elsewhere then depends on the conditions.
28 league points up for grabs in the remaining games till the end of July, I reckon we will drop 10 of those points so likely finish at end of regular season on 30 points, assuming we keep on the way we are. 32 at a push, ideally another win so 34 but highly unlikely, but I think easter was a true reflection of what realistically we can achieve.

Up until the past 10 days or so I would have disagreed with you.

I noticed Dixon was on kicking duties at the end and Cunningham seemed to be kicking a bit in open play, so i'm guessing that Sammut may have been off injured. Our squad is thin enough already with a few inexperienced youngsters to boot. It looks as if the fears expressed at the beginning of the season about the squad are being realised.
Not injured. It appears he was withdrawn at half time for 'tactical' reasons.
Jarrod was not playing at all well and Cunningham who had only just come off took his place. Jarrod spent the rest of the laying down on the grass in the dug out. I thought Battye was going to get sent off the way he was carrying on.
