Leaving with immediate effect? Can the season get any worse?

This season is a write off buddy.

Something is seriously wrong down at Giants at the moment, not many players are wanting to stick around.

Prolly best buds with Watson, he brought him here after all. With the season being finished for us, will save us some money i guess so i'm really not bothered about this as he isn't part of team for next year. Maybe we can get rid of the other Salford players he brought in too (Bibby, Livett, Lolohea)/ Was one of the first warning signs with Watson that all he could do was bring players he he had already coached. We need a massive clearout of the dead wood that has been signed to have any chance going forward and give a new coach a chance to play a different way. The spine remains the problem and sadly we have resigned Lolohea already before Watson left. I would have liked to see Lolohea , Connor and Milner shipped out and pacier spine players brought in which is where we have all our problems.

Didn’t Yates force a move through when he left Salford?
Or maybe we are clearing the decks? Trouble is we will be badly down on numbers this week with Yates gone, 2 forwards suspended and guessing Geeenwood out injured.
Robinson has inherited a real basket case of a team!!
Also agree ref would like to see Bibby, Livett and Connor moved on Milner is already going but do we have faith in whoever is making the decisions?
I just have the impression the club is on a downward spiral and there is not the ability behind the scenes to pull it round

Just my opinion but you watch Connor play some outstanding rugby now til the end of the season.

Nobody else would've scored that try he scored at Leigh on Saturday, he's a top level player who should be playing week in week out.

Thanks Luke for the time you spent at our club & good luck in the future (except against us).
Also why not release Marsters now! How long will he be injured? Would free up another overseas place before the transfer deadline of 2nd August.

Where to play him? He is too slow to play in the backs for me and is only getting slower with age. He is a luxury player who needs fast pacy players around him to cover for his shortcomings and we just don't have that. He would go well at Leeds (rumoured) as they do have lots of pace in their backs and halves, but i just do not see it here for him at all, he is and was a bad fit for us. Yes he has really good skills and his highlight reel looks amazing, but if you look at the times opposition score because he is too slow to cover a kick or a move his overall contribution is nowhere near good enough for the money he is on.

I must admit, from the outside looking in, there would seem to be a split within your squad and he lost the players, because that squad is as good as any in SL, barring Wigan and maybe Saints. Connor is a very good player but doesn't look to have been enjoying his rugby and , with the right coach can be a weapon, I remember his last season with us , he assisted something like 27 scores , so if used right he's a devastating attacking weapon. He probably isn't pacey enough to play as full back when you are defending, but he does things that others cannot and I hope he can recapture some form, under a new coach, because he was a great player to watch, even in our poorest ever SL team. I hope you can get a coach to unlock the squad potential, those players haven't turned into bad ones and I think that if you do appoint the right man, top 6 would be the minimum you can expect. I think you need a new hooker though, as you haven't replaced Levi and that is such an important part of the team, Golding and the other lad whose name escapes me, just haven't got it and probably never will.

So what money is he on?

No idea, never claimed to know, but he certainly wont have come cheaply, i would be willing to bet he is one of our top 3 paid players, would you disagree? I do not think with our current squad he is worth that, i would spend his cap on a top hooker and a pacy full back, those are the things we lack most imo.
