I know it says 2024.... But.... Giants have just signed Hull FC Liam Sutcliffe on a multi year contract and is a direct replacement for Marsters... Would love to hear peoples views on this one.... |

Dont want to be negative before this season is over but Im afraid signing Sutcliffe for next year has also disappointed me greatly, to say the least !!!!!! |

i think Ken had one last fling when Watson joined at spending big to get success, it failed and we are going back to the kind of signings we were getting before Watson arrived. This is a dreadful signing and we will be going nowhere next year with the squad we are assembling. TO be honest, this town does not want superleague and we would be better dropping down to the championship and enjoying watching a winning side (like Wakefield currently are) than being perpetually disappointed with failing to achieve at the highest level. Our supporter base does not warrant a superleague slot, the town has had winning , good sides in past and has still failed to draw crowds, we should give up the ghost and drop down to an appropriate level. |
