Didn't get to the game on Sunday and just wondering how he played. Looked like he had a hand in a couple of tries.

Connor is not at his best at 6, he is simply too slow off the mark. Most Hull fans have said he is a centre, he does his best stuff out side near the line where his trickery and skills can get him through the line.

Doesn't look fit. Looked slower than when at hull. Saying all that he can still win you a match.

He's not fit because he's been out for an age. His kicking game Friday night was excellent. Give him time to settle into a position before we write him off. We have short memories don't we, I've seen comments about sezer pulling up trees with us, his first half of his first season he was excellent. The rest of his time with us he was complete rubbish, as he has been for the majority of his time with Leeds.

Can't argue with any of that he needs time to come back from his injury, he is short on pace we know but for all that we look far more liable to do something when he is on the field. For me the ball is in Watsons court ,He has the team of his choice it's up to him to produce and in a better style than we are doing. We do show brief flashes of classy football so we know they can do it, maybe with not quite the same pace as the better sides but safety first football is not working for us and is not good to watch. We have to start and capitalize on what the forwards are providing ( they are the equal of any in super league for me) we are just not taking advantage of the dominance. We have what we have playerwise ,Ian Watson has been here long enough now, With what K Davy has provided him with we should be one of the teams to beat rather than a middle table one

Lack of pace is the big difference between us and all the other top sides. Wigan have French , Field and Marshall, Warrington have Thewlis, Ashton and Dufty, Saints have Makinson, Welsby(maybe not as quick) and Catalans have Johnson. Niaqama is probably our quickest player and with his age is no longer supporting everything. It costs us in the close games, it's the difference between making a break and scoring and being brought down 20 metres from the line. If we had a quick support player we could have beaten Leeds when tui made a clean break late on in the game. It also stops tries when others make breaks as Dufty showed against Johnston when Warrington played Catalan. It's why connor was a strange choice. He's a good player but not a good fit, we needed a Brody Croft style half. Same goes for Bibby, terrible fit for what we already have we needed a winger with genuine pace and got the opposite. King is going well at Wigan because they needed a hard yards man to fit with what they already have. We have plenty of those and needed pacy players. Watson has got it very wrong for me with his recruitment this year.

I would say our forwards are the best overall in the League, we just have far too many of them and hence a lot of cap sat in the stands every week probably looking at moving on if they don't get more game time.

He is also one of the best at catching or knocking back to a support player high kicks to the corner

Would just like to thank Mr Watson for including Connor in your team last night. He was our 18th man.
