What would be yours? Based on our signings so far this would be mine:

1) Tui Lolohea
2) Jermaine McGillvary
3) Esan Marsters
4) Kevin Naiqama
5) Jake Bibby
6) Jake Conner
7) Theo Fages
8 ) Chris Hill
9) Nathan Peats
10) Owen Trout
11) Chris McQueen
12) Josh Jones
13) Luke Yates

14) Oliver Wilson
15) Joe Greenwood
16) Harry Rushton
17) Ashton Golding

I don't think you can risk connor being isolated 1 on 1 at either centre or fullback due to his lack of pace so 6 is the best position for him. Marsters is definitely no number 6 having watched him at world cup, he's an out and out centre. Pack is really difficult as we have so much quality there, having signed peats as an overseas i think he will play and Golding is in there due to his versatility he can come on if you get an injury anywhere in the backs or to spell the hooker. Some good players missing out there, but squad rotation will mean all get a go eventually. I really don't think either Russell or Senior belong at this level and are reserves along with the very unlucky O'brien who has never done anything wrong when he plays.

What a great question and the more I think about it the further I get from an answer.
After initially agreeing with Hangerman 2 I then realise there's no place for Iffy, Pryce, Hewitt and other game changers. I can only think Watto's got some sleepless nights ahead.

Maybe Masters and Naiqama are slow starters, since they've played so little top class rugby over the last 2 years, Connor takes a while to get fully fit? This possibly gives some breathing space early on to accommodate more of the squad. But eventually without loaning out, or rotating the bench each week he's got one massive headache looming!

I can't believe that none of you can find a place in the starting 17 for Michael Lawrence, according to jules he's still got it, whatever it is, see the jungle drums in Marsden got jt wrong again when jules was convinced he was on his way to Wakey, maybe we aren't as gullible as watto and uncle Ken

You do talk absolute crud. I never said he was on his way to wakey at all. We were asked what we thought of him as a player by a wakey fan who came asking on here who seemed to think he was signing for you. On that one - How do you think the recruitment going so far- still looking crap From this side, no one of note, except a very risky punt on proctor. If Bruno was to join you he would improve your team no end- you lot are clueless about him-and PT comparing his defence to others  the last full season he played he topped the tackle count for the whole league with over 750 and missed just 23 tackles all season. Even you can work out the average on that one.

You lot are clueless about him-and PT comparing his defence to others  the last full season he played before Watsons fave Yates joined he topped the tackle count for the whole league with over 750 and missed just 23 tackles all season.
