Good to get two good young players in return. Doesn't make sense to keep someone who doesn't want to stay. All the best Jake, will be interesting to see if he gets selected over toby
Oooooooh now I like Sam halsall. Shows a lot of potential and I agree it makes sense to move jake on if he doesn’t want to stay. His brother did the same and he was never the same player after he left. A shame he didn’t want to stick with us especially after we stuck with him. Don’t know much about Jack, but halsall is definitely one to watch going forward I think.
Yes, Wardle never quite fulfilled his potential with us. Remember Thorman saying how freakish he was and there is no doubt that he has talent but just never really showed it. Had some bad luck with injuries whenever he looked to be getting a run in the side and perhaps a long run in a side is what he needs to really show it. Good luck to him, feel like I should be more upset than I am which probably says it all.

He'll do well at Wigan playing in a good side under a decent coach.
I tell you what though- we don’t half look to have some strength in depth in our side! We might not have any sezer type name signings but that didn’t really work out for us anyway did it! Going to be some right competition for places that’s for sure. I can’t see a single area where we look weak at all. There are going to be some very difficult choices for watto and some disappointed players this season!

We have Russell, pryce, fages, lolohea Marsters and naiqama who can all play in the halves, although we probably don’t see the latter two playing in that position they both play in the halves in their international sides and so can’t be too shabby! If either of those players needs to go into the halves we aren’t short in the backs to cover them
We are weak in the halves, i just hope we arent going with a russell / fages combo again, it's really not good at all. Outside backs look good now, i would prolly go Mcgillvary/Naiqama/Marsters/Bibby as 2,3,4,5 as starting backs. Halsall as first cover for any injury or rotated with our older lads and Cudjoe as backup centre. and Senior as backup Winger.

I suspect it’s all down to whether Watson wants to play pryce or not. With him leaving after next year he may decide not to.
