I'm thrilled to bits for any Giants player to get into the England team but without being harsh I've absolutely no idea how Oliver Russell has made the team.

I think it shows the situation regarding British halves.
And for me this boils down to what happens much earlier on in junior rugby.

Chisset for all your crowing you have one player in the England and knights squad combined. And you won’t be keeping him beyond next year. your reserve squad were battered in the GF. You have a weakened squad and think your academy and reserves are going to do the business next year in superleague. It’s hilarious. You haven’t recruited anyone and who is going to choose Wakefield?
Wakey supporters on their board going on about how they keep “finding” these players that no one know are available only for other nasty clubs to stealthily follow them and steal them away   like they don’t know how player agents work.
Face it you are last resort.
Maybe langi might change his mind….again…..

Hardly battered but then you wouldn't expect any other type of description from you, bet you wish your midgets had got to the final, you keep keep on asking why Wakey fans are always on here, simple really it's reading your ramblings into what our clubs plans are, very insightful, fanciful and mostly laughable, keep em coming jules

So you wouldn’t call 40-12 a battering- it’s hardly a close game is it. The sad thing is you really think wakey reserves are superior. - kind of missing the point that our better guys are already playing at a higher level either breaking through to the first team or out on loan to championship or league one.
We aren’t interested in winning tin pot reserve games - we are interested in actually developing players- like we have been doing to give us our grade A academy and keep the conveyor of young talent coming through the club.

I take it from your outburst you are talking about them playing in super league, I think you'll find that we also have players from the lower ranks also playing in super league so what is your point really, didn't know you did humour jules because that's quite funny when you say your not interested in winning tin pot games, this young pool of talented players you boast about are those the ones brought through your system by a certain Andy Kelly, Mmm I wonder where I've heard that name before.

Can you not read?
Of course you know the name Andy Kelly- he’s the guy that left you a long time ago and has been at our club a very long time. (Ps he’s not a coach)
I see you’ve signed up yet another ex Newsome panthers junior to your first team. Seems you can’t stop signing the Huddersfield talent …..

Not sure if that's a sign that your talent spotters aren't doing a good enough job, or could it be that we're just better at it
