Would it be worth resigning him?
As Toulouse has been relegated he will now be a free agent and I know Watson thinks very highly of him.

We will be short in the halves next season and beyond at fullback when pryce moves on to the NRL. Bott at fullback means tui could move into the halves if needed- and bott is certainly getting plaudits from other teams fans who are starting to notice him. A bit more speed in the team would be nice!

Yes I would definitely look at signing him. Incredible pace and has been very dangerous for Toulouse. The extra pace is essential to challenge other teams.

He's a really skilful and quick player, just a shame he is so small. He scores wonderful tries, but also gets targetted near the line as a speed bump. I would look to play him on the wing, and would like to see him there for us.

I seem to remember talk of him being on a very lucrative 3 year contract, protected from relegation. This was one of the reasons why, to their credit, the club did not stand in his way.
Mind you Roberts thought he'd signed up for a pot of gold and we all know what happened there.
But yes I'd have him back in a heartbeat, as well as his blistering pace, he's just got a little bit of X factor about him.

100% yes, I was gutted when he left for Toulouse, he's a game changer, he can break that line & get that try when its needed most.

Hope Watson has been on the phone to him already.

No. We need to be signing players who will go straight into the first team and not just players to come in on decent money to be back up or utility players

For me he would go straight into the first team! We showed on Monday that pace is exactly what we lack. And the only pace we DID have on the field we are losing next season. And the season after we will lose yet more.
But why on Earth would we look forward eh

I have been commenting on our lack of pace for months regularly raising it as a concern not just after last weeks game!!!

Bott was not good enough for the first team last season hence we let him go . He would have been a squad player .
Is he better than Tui / Pryce / Golding at full back ?

Is he better than Jerry senior or Bibby on the wing ?

Where will his pace come in who are you leaving out to accommodate this speedy wizard ?

He would be a useful squad player .

Brodie Croft would bring pace to the team and he would be a better foil for one of Fages / Russell . That would improve the team .

Murphy would be better than any of our wingers that would improve the team

. If you just wanted pace bring tea ritson in from Barrow ( I suggested he would be worth a punt after our game with barrow months ago ) he would be quicker and cheaper .

Look to the future by bringing better players than you have now

well yeah why dont we just bring in tedesco and cleary...
and you keep saying lets just get croft and murphy like we can just do it. but croft murphy and ritson arent available, and probably wouldnt choose huddersfield anyway. Is Bott better than what we have right now - i would argue yes, playing him at full back and tui and fages in the halves is better than what we have right now.

Ritson is available. He is playing in the championship and would love the chance of being in SL with the CC runners up and the team who should finish 3 rd !

Leeds are looking at signing FOUR current championship players .
Murphy is in the final year of his contract
Saints want him are waiting till his contract ends in 2023. If we offered a fee plus player swap he might be available now that is how we got Brough .
Pryce /. WARDLE plus cash for a year ?
Who knows.
As for Croft he is the hottest property around .
What would it take to get him I have no idea but the principle still
Stands.
We do not need any more Squad players we need players who will make us better .

The only thing we agree on is we need more pace in the backs / halves
