A rare Wednesday night trip away. Leeds are in fine form although they were made to work hard and kept scoreless in the second half against Warrington. They haven’t been beaten at home since March. So not an easy one. Pryce is available from his ban but unless we have an injury will he play? I’d stick with the same team that demolished Cas in that respect. The only changes I would make is if golding is available him on the wing instead of Leroy and Leroy at centre instead of king. And trout back in for Mason. Of course we need to wait for the lottery on Monday so see whether we need to make any other changes. We may lose hewitt in which case if Jones isn’t available and we do have golding king might be better playing second row. Will be watching the game back later! Leeds didn’t have any players on the list at all last week for a change!
No disciplinary issues for us or Leeds ( that will upset the Cas fans who thought hewitt should be sent off!)
A 21 man squad this week with Pryce back in the squad, but personally I wouldn’t play him. Same squad as last week for me with trouty in there for mason.
Leeds have some bodies back with leeming back named in the squad, sezer and Austin both named and looking better in the forwards also.
Well done Richie Myler, you really are a disgrace to our game, cheating lil s**t.
Like Watson has just said, we need to stamp this out otherwise someone is going to finish up seriously injured, that was a super effort by Giants tonight who simply didn't deserve to lose.
We lose Fages to a shoulder shot by Sezar, Fages stays on the pitch tonight & we win, I can accept losing but when you're cheated out the game it's unfair on the 17 who put in a top effort tonight.
Leeds should never have been in a position to cheat a win at the end, with the weight of possession and position we should have won by 30 points. I cannot understand why Watson can't see a problem with our inability to score, we simply do not have enough strike in the halves and backs, it's Lolohea (who assist) and Leutele (who is leaving) or it's up to the forwards to score.
1 player that's must for next season is a goal kicker, you simply can't be missing the amount of chances we get & blow them, we missed 4 tonight alone, which would've won us the game.
For me Fages plays or Russell plays (and Fages should always be the preference) we cannot have them both on the field. The problem is there is only Pryce who is leaving after next year as another choice, it's blatantly obvious we need another half, and a good runner of the ball. With our amazing pack, a running half would have an absolute field day. Our forwards must surely get dispirited that they are setting up such a wonderful platform game after game and we just don't convert this into points. Even an average conversion rate would see us win most games by a mile.
Just not good enough tonight. I’m afraid Oliver Russell had a poor game (and I don’t just mean his kicking) some of his passing was wayward also. And we just didn’t click in the link up. Leeds defended their goal line well- but we didn’t give them too much to think about- we just do the same single phase stuff we always do which is easy to defend against. One man one defender. This needs looking at with some new plays and second phase running. If I were Watson I’d be thinking of leaving king out of the squad now- he isn’t our player- he’s moving on to wigan so has no vested interest in us beating or besting them. He’s been distinctly average so leave him out and put Leroy back at centre and give Innes another shot on the wing- he’s our player and will want to prove his worth. Louis is playing well outside a good centre! I’m not going to blame the myler thing, or sezer taking out fages. We should have had the game won by then. Leeds were poor tonight, we were too. We just haven’t played well since Cas beat us after that run we put together after the CC final. We need to be better I’m afraid. If that game were at home we would have beaten them- I hope to knock them back down to size in the playoffs at the JSS.

Jools is right about players `heads` when signed by another club. Livett for instance hasn`t made a break since going to Fartown. The Myler cheating incident is down to him. He`s a Scouser or `Bin Dipper` and they know how to cheat the system. Phil Clarke was spot on with his views.
No mention of Levi faking a head injury to try and con the referee into penalising Dwyer, very strange.
The Myler incident happens twenty times a game and was a penalty regardless of pushing himself up with his feet as Hill was all over him messing about whilst Leeds were trying to get a quick play.
The hysteria of it all is hilarious, and pretty embarrassing to say the least.

Penalty yes but not a sin binning. Without the yellow we would have won simples although we should have been out of site by then
Huddersfield Giants 2013 over achievers
Huddersfield Giants 2014 under achievers ??????????
