Let’s hope tui is back as Oli Russell has a one match ban- so yet another switch round in the halves for this game as pryce may yet again need to partner fages. a miss we can do without!
Leroy back which will help either way as we may need golding at FB if tui isn’t quite ready.
As far as I know no injury worries from the game on Saturday which is a blessing. Connor mackintosh and hodgson were at the game on Saturday- no doubt to check out the opposition….

Unless Connor is coming back.....which is I guess highly unlikely.

We've not missed McIntosh at all imo.

Connor could well play as last week at 'centre' but with the ability to rove around like an extra pivot as a full back does - that worked well for them last week. We know how dangerous he can be when he has space to move around and exploit gaps he sees. hmmmmm whos going to be the one to wind him up, jonesy perhaps.
I think you are right re mcintosh- and we are aware his weakness under the high ball esp under pressure so we should look to exploit that.
I think we need Levi on from the start in this one and use his speed in the middle of the field to get their middle men working hard, a fast line speed from us, then get Fages kicking well to turn them around.
It will be another tough hard game for our forwards and we will need them to be at their best again.
I thought they were really good last week - trout especially put a really good hardworking shift in and when Matty came on the side visibly lifted with his enthusiasm.

Same squad as last week with the addition of tui - so we have managed to name 20 this week!
So will he go Pryce in the halves or stick with him at FB and put tui in the halves.. We will lack pace out wide in the centres if we stick with the same team as last week, we are ok unless hull get a break then we may struggle.

Another top result, Hull had everything to play for and a strong squad out there. We wouldn't be winning those games 2 years ago. No matter who is playing or missing, Watson has got the 17 blokes on the pitch believing and that's massive.

Note for this evening, lots of offside calls tonight, I guess that's what you get when you have a proper ref operating as a linesman - someone who is willing to make a call

We started slowly for the first 15 minutes but then dominated but just lacked a cutting edge but still in the end we got there through hard work.
I thought Trout, Pryce and Cudjoe were the pick of the starters. However what won it was the bench.
I was surprised to see Ashworth play before English and Lawrence but he had a massive impact today which shows he could become a top player.
Greenwood played big minutes and really stood up and Danny Levi was simply brilliant head and shoulders the best player in the pitch.

Agree Levi was my MOM and really turned the game.
Ashworth going forward was immense. He hasn’t impressed me in defence in recent weeks but it improved tonight and his go forward today could not be faulted.
Trout was very solid indeed especially in his second stint.
Fages was very busy and looked dangerous when taking on the line.
Credit to hull their defence was difficult for us to break down in that first half as we must have been held up over the line at least 4 or 5 times. Connor was anonymous today- the tactic from last week didn’t really pay off for them.
Didn’t think we were going to do it- they must be seething to lead all game then lose it in the last 5 minutes!

You always get a mixed bag with Connor. He still created two of their tries and is a player that can always make something happen.

Thought the game changed with Levi's introduction, he offers pace and real direction. I like O'Brien but he's not a top hooker. Fages improved immensely with quicker service. Pryce needs to run more, his organising skills will improve with age. We have real depth in the squad. Great result.

Agree Levi was great but I do think OBrien is a top hooker, he was brilliant in the first half, led the defensive line and put in some huge shots! A top effort which allowed Levi to work his magic
