Post subject:  Hull on Sunday

Hull had a quick turnaround last week and were expected to suffer as a result but that didn't happen - could they show some fatigue this week instead?
Hull have a big pack and our forwards will have to continue their fine form but I think the pressure is all on Hull again this week, at home and the fans expect, whereas everyone thinks we are punching above our weight.
Shame we haven't got Leeming on the field to rile up Connor anymore   The talk seems to be all about him but they have threats elsewhere, they are still a bit hit and miss if Connor isn't performing though.
Who knows what the disciplinary will conjure up this week :USTUPID: but if all is well then I expect to see the exact same team as we had out this week except for Wilson again or perhaps Mason may come in for Seb who I believe failed his HIA so it will depend on his recovery over the week, as the game was Saturday he would just be eligible to play Sunday provided he passes his midweek examination.
Another win would cement our place near the top with a tricky few games coming up against les cats, saints, leeds at headingley and wolves away .

As far as I am aware this season the rule on HIA is if a player fails its 11 days till he can play again. Which means he basically misses his teams next match. Player welfare the priority. A good rule change in my opinion.

In that case then yes he will miss the next game,a Shame but we have plenty of cover and plenty who want to stake a claim for a spot.

A costly loss for giants. A bit of a back to Earth game, and likely to lose both Tui and Pryce for a few games too in what is going to be a tough run of games.
We have Goulding to play full back, but without cogger, tui, and pryce we are rather stuck in the halves. Do we know when cogger is likely to return? in a game we weren’t able to break down hulls defence we are going to struggle in our next few against Catalan Leeds (new coach syndrome) saints and wire

I was talking to some Giants supporters, over at the seaside, who'd been to the game. They seemed to think Lolohea should get a 5 match ban and Pryce an 8 match ban. They said it was disgusting what had happened.

I only listened to it on the radio and the commentators seemed to think Lolohea had thrown a few punches at "Snake"
They also said they were happy Snake didn't play for you anymore

Grade F and tribunal for Pryce (dangerous throw) and no charge for Lolohea (causing a melee, no punches thrown).

Seems like someone’s talking bull. Good news that tui is free to play.
As expected for pryce.

A tough run coming up, a reminder that we've beaten KR, Toulouse, Salford and Cas this year, none of which will be in the play offs. We've played some good stuff at times but we couldn't have had an easier start. The next 6 weeks will show us where we really are

Agree with that. We have played two good teams so far and come up short both times, what we have definitely improved on is beating those teams that are similar or slightly poorer than us, and doing that means you will always be in the top half of the table. The cup game is going to be really interesting, because Huddersfield of the past would be heads down after a defeat and vulnerable in this type of game (We have been knocked out by lower opposition twice that i can remember!). If Watson is making a difference to the Huddersfield mentaility we will never be in trouble in this game and win it comfortably as a super league team should. Over the last 20 years we have been a massive momentum side, we go on runs, good runs where we can beat anyone, and terrible runs where we can lose to absolutely anyone. I want to see that, more than anything, improved so that we are a side that can suffer a bad loss, and come back the week after and beat poorer opposition.
