Cas now have their tails up having finally won a game under Radford. Will they go on to improve or will they carry on as the Radford team of old being inconsistent in their outcomes.
According to those on the Cas forum they expect a close win (they report on there that Salford fans said they were so poor they made an ordinary Giants side look good).
Levi should be back for this one, that should improve our attack still further. Other than him coming in I expect little change in the squad that beat Salford comprehensively last week, with probably Goulding missing out. Possible Jonesy to come back in - does anyone know why he didn't feature last week? Our outside backs worked well last week. Our spine seemed to tick nicely and our middles laid an excellent platform for the rest so unless there were any injuries no-one should lose their spot as far as I'm concerned. No discipline concerns this round.
Cas will have a little more in attack than Salford offered I feel, so defence will have to be just as good as last week.
Be nice if we can get 6-7 thousand down, there are still a few spare gift tickets around but with it being a Saturday afternoon who knows.
another two points would be lovely!

Salford were made to look ordinary by the way we played, they looked like they would struggle to win a game in the championship as they never made it into our half of the field until well into the game, except for a couple of penalties where they got absolutely smashed by our defense. I wonder what the score would have been if we had had Jake Wardle, Theo Fages, Danny Levi, Joe Greenwood and Josh Jones playing. Bring on Castleford and hopefully another two points in the bag on Saturday night COYG

I wouldnt do Leroy, Pryce, AOB, Wilson and Roberts the disservice of saying the score would be much different as I thought those guys that came in did brilliantly and Watson has a tough choice to drop any given how they all played. The only definite sure ins for me would be Levi and Fages if he was fit. Its great to have such strength in depth tbh!

Im hoping to bring some newbies on Saturday but cant get to the stadium prior to exchange my gift tickets - can I still exchange on the day Saturday as the official stuff coming out of the club is unclear and I cant get through to anyone on the phone and no-one has replied to messages!
stuff like this is frustrating tbh - they ARE trying to improve numbers but then make it difficult by only opening till 4pm, and not having manned phone lines.

I think you can exchange on match day, they're just encouraging everyone to do so prior to that to reduce queues and issues on the day.

Thankyou I think someone may have called me back yesterday- but didn’t leave a message in answer to the query I left on their answer machine. :WALL:
I can’t have my phone on during the day so if I can’t get through at my lunchtime and since they only work 9-4 It’s pretty much impossible to speak to anyone.
I was loath to drag four people down there only to find I couldn’t exchange the tickets . There promotional stuff is implying it runs out today.

Good morning guys! Looking for a bit of assistance if anyone can help, please? I’ve always gone into the Gas Club before the game at your place but, as you know, it’s now closed. I’ve read that you now have food, drink, bit of music etc.. on before the game - is this in the car park and what time do things get started? Cheers in advance.

Decent first half from the giants. Line speed not quite up to where it was last week and some rather wayward passing which is letting Cas off the hook at times but giants very much in control.
Cas not offering up very much at all in response so far.

Two ridiculous sin binnings nearly cost us the game. Well done to them for having the composure to recover from that. We seem completely incapable as a sport of introducing new rules properly, anyone can see the differencee between a late deliberate hit, and one that connects moments after the ball has been passed. In the wigan game later late shots were penalised but not sin binned, so no consistency there at all, and even if there was consistency it would still be ridiculous. Every time we introduce a new rule it is a farce, and this is one of the worst. It reminds me of the 'you fall in a bad way and can't clear the ball so it's a penatly debacle we had a few seasons ago'. Other sports dont have this garbage

You just know when it’s child in the middle it’s going to be the child show though.
Penalise them by all means but yellow card is ridiculous. And as you say no consistency.
Levi must wonder what on Earth game he’s playing here in the UK!
When Cas scored 4 to go in front I honestly thought we’d crumble and in previous years we would have. Kudos for the lads for regrouping and going back to playing the way they had in the first 40 minutes and showing their dominance once more.
We were the better side by more than 12 points but two points in the bag and second in the table! :ROCKS: :ROCKS:
Again tough to pick a MOM but I thought oil Russell was very good. Just about to sit down and watch the game again.
