For any Rugby League fan looking for a nice Christmas present for under £10 the novel "Three Good Years" is recommended (by me!). It is set between 2006 and 2008 with a background of Work, Family Life, Saving the NHS and Rugby League and a lot of typical northern humour in the fictional South Lancashire town of Ashurst.
