Well the 21 man squad comes out today and not long ago this was the match that he would return in.

Summarising after Catalans SW changed it to two to four weeks without it seemed any great confidence which now takes us to at least round six or seven.

No mention of Uate either so he will be at least that long one would assume.

Whilst I accept injury is part of any contact sport we have two huge lumps of salary cap sat in the stand week in week out and one has to question how long you give someone who has played 8/59 games and another who has played 6/30 With at least another two to four weeks to go before any return is considered.

Nothing against Leroy, got some great memories, but I believe he’s in the last year of his contract and surely we cannot contemplate an extension and if this is the case you can’t blame anyone wanting to sit in the stand to the end of his contract.

Surely it’s time to act and not risk his health for the sake of what becomes less and less games in what could be his final season?

Can you give us any indication as to what soon means. The general opinion when you talk to people is that he will never play again, Is this just gossip and he definitely is coming back.

In my honest opinion, I think he should do the noble thing and announce his 'retirement'.

However, the club should do the honourable thing and move him over into a 'coaching' role and continue to pay his contract out.

He could then continue to do his rehab and see where the land lies. If he recovers (and is still good enough), give him a run in the reserves.

Just because you've 'retired', doesn't mean you'll never play again (see Dale Ferguson)

What i gather it will be the Wakefield resrve game on 21st Match there aiming for then the 4th April resrve game before hoping he's ready for the Cas awya game but it's only what i have heard, it came from people involved in the club so not exactly gossip but will see
