Hope the week off doesn’t kill our momentum.
Salford had to fight hard to beat Toronto last week. I dont think we will have any further players back so the squad likely to be the same as Sunday’s was to be.

Let’s hope Salfords players are underestimating us as their coach seems to be.
“Huddersfield can say they are going to be fresh but they only had the one pre-season game and they’ve only had the one Super League game where Catalans were very rusty.

In contrast our coach and captain have both shown respect to the opposition in their comments whilst Remaining confident.

Good win. To get two points whilst not playing fluently and with some awful last tackle kicking shows some resilience.

Would have lost that last year. Well done to the team.

Also big raps to Woolford in his post match interview. Always honest and correct in his analysis

That bench would have had any team worried, best bench in Super League.

It is but would still like to see a second hooker on there. O’Brien has been great but it is asking a lot for him to do that every week throughout the season.

Totally agree and despite it we didn't dominate their pack, Pauli Pauli still makes a mess of us and had it not been for McIntosh's speed he would have won the game for them.

Still ...only second game and after a week off so a welcome win, Gaskell will have better kicking days , A hard fought win with some top defense, Well done.

Agree about OB 53 tackles last night- magnificent effort but you could see him tiring at the end of each half with some wayward passing. Hopefully holmes will give him a breather next week. Our pack can afford it as KR are struggling in the forwards.
46 tackles from smurf last night too!
I thought woody put in some excellent defence in terms of effort- he’s not the heaviest but he worked hard in defence, tracks back where necessary grabs hold and doesn’t let go!
Ken sio almost had four tries but for some great last ditch defending.
Food for thought just 17 tackles missed in total last night. 9 from two players. In contrast KR, our next opponents, missed over 50.

Agree Jools I thought Sam Wood was excellent I've been impressed ever since his debut. He's solid, great defensively, and a really good communicator.

The sky commentary was hard work last night, appreciate they want to make superstars out of players but the Sezer loving was too much. He was bang average last night, how he got man of the match over players like Darnell, Wood, Wardle, Senior, OB I don't know.

Man of match was a joke must of chosen it before kick off ,Sezer looked embaressed to get the award ,the our league man of the match was Neil Evalds .We may need a new fullback next week disciplinary beckons for Mackintosh for a late hit on Brown who will be paying a visit himself
