Nice guy- but nice guys don’t always make the best coaches. Can’t say as he’s not replaceable and potentially with better so no big loss to me. A shame we took him on in the first place rather than leave the door open for Chris.

I'd put my money on Leon Pryce as his replacement...

Had close links with us since he's been coaching and has a great reputation

A great reputation from where? Chris thorman turned around the team he was sacked from.

Under Leon Pryce Workington finished 4th behind York, Bradford and Donny. And lost the elimination final to Bradford.

Thorman finished 6th in a much inferior division this season.

Hardly call that turning them around.

Nobody said he wasn't - but you said Thorman turned the team around, when he clearly didn't.

I think everyone should stop banging on about Chris Thorman this and Greg Brown that.

If Thorman was that good, he'd be at a Super League club next season and Greg Brown is not doing anything ground breaking at Salford. Strength, conditioning and fitness of players is largely down to luck as much as anything else.

If people didn't move on and the club try to develop, we'd still have Lionel Cooper on the wing and Alex Murphy as coach

Our coaching staff like him and he did a bloody good job in his first year as a head coach

100% I do think Chris has potential to be a great coach just not there yet
