He was a character that's for sure, and one of my favourites when I was a kid. Sad news to hear, unsure of the circumstances. RIP

Was a real character on and off the pitch was boothy- One of my favourites back in those days - exciting player to watch. Hope his passing wasn’t rugby related.

Loved watching this lad when I was a teenager. It’s a shame we lost him to rugby union.

A master of the attacking short kick over an opponent's head and re-gather. We could do with more like him nowadays.

To echo the sentiments on here, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Boothy play and remember him scoring a hat-trick opposite a highly-rated Karl Pratt at Post Office Road. Rest In Peace Boothy. A cracking player to watch.
How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Sad news, RIP, I remember the name oddly but I don't think I saw him play.

Then you missed a true "entertainer" and a "character" off the field! Sad news indeed at such a tender age!
