In August 2009, the Claret and Gold graced the Wembley turf for the first time since 1963, and despite being beaten by Warrington, the day still holds some fond memories for fans, from beating St Helens on that magical afternoon at Warrington in the semi final to walking out at Wembley, there was a sense of pride and and excitement around the town!.

Players attending (current roles allowing) include Keith Mason, Luke Robinson, Michael Lawrence, Kevin Brown, Stephen Wild, Scott Moore, Shaun Lunt, Leroy Cudjoe.
The event will be held on Tuesday 6th August at Turnbridge WMC, 7.30pm start, it is free for HGSA members and £1 for non members, please note, we only have a limited number of spaces available for this event, so if you want to guarantee a place, please contact
