How many times are we going to see players deliberately impeding the half back from passing the ball a particular way so directing play now? |

They brought this in at the beginning of last season when it was happening a lot, and then forgot they had brought it in. |

What they should have done is used common sense judgement from the start. They have to answer one question: Is the defender actively trying to remove themselves from the ruck area without deliberately impeding the attacking side? Yes - play on No - penalty to the attacking side Yes but is being deliberately impeded from doing so -penalty to the defending side. Simples! |

already seen the benefits .... number of occasions where players would have tried conning the refs in two games i have seen since changes but the players are actually playing the game the right way now

And at least twice against Wigan Milner hung about at the side of the ruck preventing wigan from having a choice of which way to play the ball.... |
