Huddersfield Giants are set to break the bank to sign highly-rated England Academy prop Oliver Wilson from Bradford Bulls, report League Express. He was one of the best props in the academy league last season. Hes 20 now so no longer eligible for the academy. Strange that were willing to pay 6 figures to say he has only played 2 first team games for the Bulls against Hemel and Keighley. Youd would have thought he would have been a regular in the side and looking good at Champ level for us to pay that?? |

If we’ve signed a young player then there’s a fee to pay. We do it properly- unlike FC. The “6 figure sum”quote isn’t in context. potentially it could be total we pay. If we’ve signed him on a 4 year deal at 20k a year plus a 20k fee to bulls then that’s six figures. |

He had 4 offers from SL clubs in pre-season, bit of a bidding war was going on. |
