Thats how I saw it but I'll bet he gets away with it, one of the commentators excused it by saying 'He apologised straight away.'

Three match suspension.

These retrospective bans are garbage, they don't penalise the team who committed the offence apart from having to re-jig their side and doesn't give the team they offended any advantage. Just gives the player a rest on game day. For what he did he should have been red carded as it was definitely deliberate. Why not look at video ref for these kinds of incidents then decide.

We did score our winning try when they were down to 12 but I get where you are coming from.

just an idea, why not allocate one of the `ban` matches to be against offended team next time they meet. discuss.

Let’s get a panel in place, who operate to a fair and consistent outcome, in theory your idea has merits, but the present RFL disciplinary panel “whoever they may be are a disgrace” For once with Tautai they got it right.

How would that work if said player never plays against that side again? If they’ve already played that team twice, then a player retires, or moves in to a different division. Or say the next time the teams meet that player is injured anyway. Or the player has gone to a different side. They could only end up serving two games instead of three. I get the fairness angle but I’m not sure it’s workable
