He can heal the sick
Cure the lame
bring a dying club back to life
And make Gaskell realise his potential

Amen

Well somebody /something has changed and being how the coach is the one who gets the blame for things going wrong, It's fair play he should get the credit when things go right.

The last three games have show a huge improvement in the style of play , especially last night, We played the sort of football Cas got lots of credit for playing last year, Keep it up in the top eight's and a good off season could see a different club next season and IMO the fans will turn up to watch that kind of football in bigger numbers.

He always deflects the praise onto the players in interviews also.

You made a good call a couple of weeks ago jools when you said how much we needed Brough, The whole team played superbly last night and Brough is still a very good player when he is not falling out with the Ref .

For me Rick Stone certainly laid the foundations for this current turnaround of form and should be recognised by receiving some credit.

The side has enough quality to be top eight so was always going to pick up results and form no matter who was in charge.

That said, you don't have a prayer of getting into the top four so you are deluding yourselves if you think you've any chance of that this season.

"It's the refs fault again". Biggest moaning whingers in RL.

As far as I’m concerned stone gets no credit. He did nothing to improve us in 18 months that I could see. - he made us into. Worse side with poor preparation - had to have a mini preseason part way through the year - and awful game plans that didn’t suit us at all.
Nice guy -poor coach

I think he is being very clever re: Gaskell, he mentions him everytime he has an interview. He was for me probably MOM last night and deserved praise but has been far from it in other games yet Woolford constantly talks him up. Two reasons for this: 1) Improves Gaskells morale, 2) increases chances he can offload him. He has made it clear we are trying to sign another high quality halfback and made a couple of bids , so why does he need this when he has Brough and Gaskell? Very clever methinks

He needs this because brough is 36!
That’s exactly why we walked away from Hastings as he wasn’t prepared to sign for long enough.
