Hope we could build on the first half effort of Wednesday, and maintain our discipline for the complete 80,then we might give ourselves a chance.

Easter Monday games can be sometimes be damp squibs,as the players struggle to reach the same sort of level as the first Easter fixture.Hope we could get well up for this one.We need to win.

Be worth turning up just to watch 'all action man' Jake Mamo once again.I'm a big fan already.

yep looking forward to see jake mamo again, exciting player to watch...if we could build around mamo, ikahihifo and mcgillvary we would do well!

we have a day extra than warrington to rest so that will count for something! in fact we should be looking to win if we get taai and cudjoe back

but we will never win games with errors and completion rates like lastnight - end of story! till we cut down on these errors we will continue to come up short.

symonds looks unlikely to play so will prob welcome back ferguson, keep mellor in the 2nd row

Mamo was both good and bad he knocked on two bombs (was lucky to get a penalty for one), and didn't miss the tackle for their try before the break - because he was no where near where he was supposed to be in defence. In fact he wasn't anywhere near for their third try- which had they not scored wouldn't have resulted in brough mouthing off and getting sent off.
If anyone else had made those errors he'd have been mud. Give it a few weeks though...

6 months of not playing, two weeks of running, gets man of the match and still gets bagged

 the sponsors choose MOTM brearley- they often don't have a clue- in fact a colleague of mine was invited to join the sponsors in their box- she asked me prior to the game who she should choose. I gave her a name- and that's who got MOTM

Seb was by far the best player on the pitch last night.

And I'm not "bagging" him I'm just pointing out that he wasn't the perfection some seem to think he was. He did some good stuff- and some not so good stuff- what I'm saying is in a few weeks the fans on here will only notice the latter.

Looks like wire will be without Matty Russel and Ryan Atkins after picking up injuries against Widnes

But can't you see... you are totally bagging him and I think that you're just being controversial for the sake of it. Anybody coming off such an injury lay-off would be delighted with that debut.

And most folk will highlight the positives and say those are going to improve rather than looking for things that weren't there and putting a negative spin on the lad.

He DIDN'T knock-on twice, his positional play was alright, he was all over the field and looked dangerous with ball in hand.

If we want to start on not making a pass to Jerry when it was on, let's have a look at the last few years and count all the times Leroy didn't take that option.

We will have to differ on the knock ons- thats part of my point- fans See what they want to see.
He dropped a bomb late in the first half. Remember it clearly as the guy next to me at the time mumbled something about grix! There was then a caffufle in the second where him Darnell didn't communicate - luckily we earned a penalty due to an infraction by a Catalan player so didn't lose the ball. :FEVER:
Just to be clear I'm not bagging him- I'm bagging some of the fans.
The fans on here will start to pick up on the errors he makes -whilst ignoring the good stuff- give it till next year- look how things changed with grix, in the end he could do no right! yet the wakey fans love him right now!
Our full back has always been the scapegoat since Reilly went. Even Brett Hodgson got it in the neck. Then many of those who'd been moaning about him were crying that thewlis (wrong) let him go.
A fullback is exposed more than any other player, and a fullbacks errors are more obvious as a result of that. What is less obvious to most is the organisation, positioning and understanding of the opposition plays a fullback must have- those can't easily be measured or observed, but a dropped bomb or a missed tackle in open play they are obvious.
So yes I'm bagging - but not who you think!

Monday at Warrington considering they will be without Atkins, Russell, Brown and potentially Westerman and Clark aswell, we SHOULD be aiming for 2 points.

I already know we will finish bottom 4 (95% sure) but this is our last chance in my eyes of having the slightest glimmer of hope of saving the season. A loss though and it confirms 100% for me that we have no hope at all this season and it will be between Us, Leigh, Widnes and Hull KR who ends up in the MPG this season and I would not be confident at all going up against any of those teams at present. I think Saints will be in the bottom 4 but they won't be anywhere near the MPG.

What worries me the most is if we are bottom 4 again we will be in the same situation next year regarding poor recruitment - as that was the excuse this season.

yep thats true the sponsors often pick whoever!

the examiner gave mamo man of the match, they are more accurate.

not a bad debut after 6 months out dont you agree
