What's the deal with him.

Just doesn't seemed to have settled with Huds.

A class player who reminds me of Anthony Sullivan.

Never went missing in quite a patchy up and down Salford team.

Always rated by fans from a range of clubs yet Huds fans seem
indifferent to him.

On dual reg with Oldham ?

Can't understand why another SL club hasn't been in for him, perhaps its
the part-time thing?

Not sure. When he's played he's been pretty average, and we don't seem to be utilising his pace properly. He's messed up a few times when he's had the line begging, and with murphy being a crowd favourite broughton just hasn't had a good run of games to prove himself.

He's a decent player, but is behind McGilvary and Murphy and hasn't really shown anything to threaten those 2 in the starting lineup. He's fast but fast is no good ifyou haven't got the ball or space !.

I just don't think he works hard enough or is strong enough in defence for Anderson and I'd agree with Anderson on that. We look weaker in defence when he plays instead of Murphy.
I would also agree that other than in flashes, Anderson has failed to get the best out of him attacking wise.
I think he's a great option to have in the squad but currently there are others better than him.

Fighting with murphy to get in the team on the wing, when murphy gets in he is so rock solid that anderson just cant drop him for broughton

broughton not really taken his chance, maybe down to him not working hard enough bringing the ball out

dodgy under the high bombs too

but i dont think we have used him correctly, bags of pace and a good finisher. just doesnt seem to fit our style of play

will get another chance this season to hold down a place though for sure

I really rate him, more off what I've seen of him when playing at Salford. We've not seen the best of him yet, due to his own form and like people say, using him right. But the other two have been so solid of late it will be injury that sees him come back into the side, but there can't be many better back up winners in the league, when on form. 2 tries for Oldham at the weekend.

We simply use him badly is the problem, Jerry is a battering ram and Smurph is both rock solid and has excellent positioning sense

Broughton needs cleaner ball than he's been getting and he is often in the wrong spot, he is also outside the tightest centre in the league

have before said wardle may be the problem for broughton

mcgillvary gets great service from cudjoe

a good scoring winger always has a class centre providing chances

Nice comments from Anderson in today's examiner regarding Broughton. Seems to have a great attitude, and looking to get a chance over easter!
