big drop for the Giants with just over 7000 attending.

The games at Fax and the regular changing of games to evening KOs with us being on SKY has had a big effect.

hopefully we can get a good few through with the special offer this season. We have got 3 new ones coming to games

Sky have hammered us attendance wise this year, not just the amount we've been on but the chopping and changing the kick off's . obviously the Shay crowds took a couple of thousand off the usual attendance. Ken also acknowledged this too and stated he'd 'mentioned' it to Sky and the RFL.

if we improve over the years to come, we will obviously be on sky more often so our crowds will be affected just the same as this past season.some teams like wigan/ leeds arent as affected by friday night games as we are as that is their preferred time for home games. sky though should look at putting local derbies on a friday night and maybe the cross pennine games on a sat night to make travelling easier for working fans

Too logical. Remember, it's Sky & the RFL you're talking about!

our attendances have somewhat stagnated the last couple of years which is disappointing, but thats just not down to fickleness like has already been alluded to SKY and HTFC have shafted us this season!

It's also tough times, and if you don't have a season ticket, trying to find £20 a week might be the first thing to go, and that's just if there's only one of you going...

Add to that the change around in times, our less than acceptable second half of the season and the move to fax it all adds up.

without doubt our biggest threat to attendances are the company that pays good money to broadcast the sport rather than succesful neighbours as has been the case for the last 20/30 years.
with me not being able to attend many sunday games then im obviously happy for the friday/saturday games, but my fortune is someone else's misfortune, i know our crowds take an absolute hammering when on sky's friday/saturday night slots.
