My fridge has become warm 4 times in last 3 weeks. Once it has been defrosted it works again for a while. The fan works. Any suggestions as to the fault, please? Thanks in advance for all helpful replies. |

Sin bin NOT VT. The VT is for RL the sin bin is for people to show how clever they are . The kudos someone will get for diagnosing a technical problem via a public thread is about the same as doing all of Girls aloud. ( its a bloke thing). |

This happens to mine on a regular basis. The technical term is "Ms. pmh leaving the door open". Could it be something to do with the compressor, and when do I get to have a go on girls aloud? |

Not sure myself what could be causing this but I know my parents had a similar problem but they rectified it by buying a new fridge! My fridge was acting strange not so long ago where the milk and only the milk was freezing solid yet nothing else was affected even put a thermometer inside to check the temp but that was fine, checked seals they were fine. Then all of a sudden the milk stopped freezing solid without doing anything to the fridge!! |

As I've said on your VT topic. You can probably pick one up for peanuts from Wakefield right now. Alternatively, I've a fridge in my garage from when we had the kitchen done you can borrow if you need to. It needs a good clean though. I'm trying to grow some new bacteria in it at present. |
