Anyone got a review of the 2002 Buddies cup final we could put on the HKR board. |

I'll never forget when that plank threw his pint over Stan the man. Had trouble over the years with Fev fans (talking 30 years ish ago). Anyway I parked outside this guy's house and he comes straight to the door and I thought here goes, more grief. 'Are you Hudds fans'? He says. 'Yes, says I, Is it O.K. to park here? He replies 'You can park here as long as you like, as long as you stuff 'em'. Great day that was. |

From memory, it rained, we got played off the park by your full-timers, Bob Everitt scored a consolation for us (I think), Stan got sent off for a trip and we went home soaked and miserable. You may recall it slightly differently! I hated that comp, 4 finals, 3 defeats. Even though they changed its name every year we rarely turned up (except when beating Cas in 2005). |

Quote:But, unfortunately, there was again a pitifully low crowd - just 2,062 to be exact - to watch the excitement unfold. with a massive 100 from east hull but dont tell them they've not always had 1000s of travelling support |
