This reminds me of when we started playing at Leeds Rd. Wasn't it Featherstone in our first game? Paul Newlove tore us a new bumhole that day and not long after he signed for Bradford. |

picture 21 in last Fartown game with Joe ...........the soup van !!!! yeah the saviour of many cold sunday afternoons !! great pics though and some great memories too but one thing that is very noticeable is just how bad the old place had got - at the time i dont think i was too aware of the state of the ground as i was only a teenager but looking at them now it was a sorry sight ! |

what facilities ?? at either Fartown or Leeds Road i remember the 1st game at the 'new ground' was like heaven been able to pee in a proper loo |

I was at that last game at Leeds Road although I was working an exit gate as I was skint and needed the extra money for a trip to Wembley( a tenner rather than the normal £8!). But looking at those pictures I remember it being a night game but the pitch looks too good for that time of year. I've probably got the programme somewhere for that game too as I'd love to know where those mascots are now. |
