Heard a rumour Kooga have gone bust anyone know anything :shock:

They've been loss making for a while - JJB loaned then £4million in 2008 - it was highlighted on JJB Sports financial report as the auditors "had voiced misgivings".

It would not surprise me if it happened.

not too long till the season starts and still no new away shirt what a shambles, prob wont even be an away shirt if they have gone bust

Wonder where Eorls testimonial shirts are? Another KooGa product - that game should have been a week ago!

Had some time to look into this now.

Kooga Rugby Ltd is owned by JD Sports Fashion plc. They seem pretty secure and have beaten Trader estimates.

JD Sports to Beat Analyst Estimates

"JD rose 65 pence, or 12 percent, to 615 pence in London trading, the biggest gain since April. The shares have risen 22 percent so far in 2010, giving the company a market value of 299.3 million pounds ($476.4 million)."
Had some time to look into this now.

One year they'll actually do a Claret shirt with a Gold V with the V finishing at the chest area. It will sell like hot cakes and I can parp on here how I told you so etc etc. It will happen one year, I feels it in me bones!

It's black (the pictures on the giants website) i quite like the look of it but £49 is a bit steep.
