Evening all,

Batley fan here just wondering what the lad Griffin's like who we are getting on loan from you this year?

Heard he's big strong with loads of potential but never actually seen him play.

Cheers

Josh has had a brief taste of SL and didn't let us down so I think it'll benefit both clubs cos he'll gain valuable experience playing at a higher level than in the reserves and at the same time he'll come back to us a better player. Personally I'd expect him to be the best one of our loan signings to you.

Cheers Ponner.............hope your right as it's a quality Centre we are lacking at the moment. A few people have criticised this loan agreement, but I only see positives....for both clubs and the players involved, who like you say gain valuable experience playing at a better standard of RL than the Reserves.

Not sure about Alex Brown after last week's showing, but maybe he was trying a bit too hard to impress. You cant be a bad player to score as many tries as he did last year, even if it was in the Reserves.

What I have seen of him lacks a yard of pace but hopefully can improve this

I would not be surprised to see him end up in the second row in a couple of seasons.

I think Kyle Wood is a lad with bags of potential and one to watch for next season.
