1. Nathan Brown. This will be the first season where he has made major changes to personnel and it is starting to become his team. Can he keep the players motivated and with the new recruits give us an attack to match the defence we saw last season. Will he continue to bring some of the younger players through. Has a hard job to do as wel or better than last season.
2. Brad Drew. will he be able to bring some of the younger players through particularly Lunt and help Robbo adapt to the role of hooker if indeed he is going to play there. I really hope that he can stay fit and do the minutes on the field. With his short kicking game, will we see the ability to break down the other teams defences which allows us to win the games that we should have done.
3. Brett Hodgson. How can he be any better than he was last season
.
captain fantastic who organises everything on the field and oozes class. If he plays half as well next year as he did this year we will have a good season.
4 Lee Gilmour. experience and a winning mentality. with him, hodgson and Drew we will always have leaders on the pitch. Can he show the team how to win big games rather than be glorious losers.
5. Darrell Griffin. Was dissappointing last season and has the ability to improve a 100% on last season. If he does he could establish himself as one of the top forwards in the game. I hope he watched Eorl in the 4 nations and is determined to be the top prop at the club. If he can improve we will have a hell of a pack which will give the backs an opportunity to shine.
Some iof thechoices may be unpopular i.e.No Crabtree but i expect him to carry on where he left off along with Raleigh. I also agonised over Kevin Brown if he develops and makes n0 6 his own then he would have been in my 5 as well as could Lunt. But if the above players can play to their potential we will have agood season.
