| Post subject: | Car Parking |
Hello everyone. Random enquiry here and I`m sure it would be of some use to other people on the forum. I`m studying Leasure and Tourism and as a die hard Rugby League fan myself my question fits in quite well. Could people provide me with car parking information for match days please ? ie where you can park and any costs involved. Thanks in advance RugbyLeagueMad

Parking at the Stadium is £5 per car and it right next to the stadium and is pretty good in terms of security etc. You do have to wait until all the walkers have left the stadium though to exit which delays it somewhat. There are other options available ranging in security: 1. On Street parking - Free but there have been instances of criminal damage (I think iw was when Wakie came to ours) 2. Municipal car-park (£1) - Off street parking and in an enclosed area and about half a mile from stadium. (I'd use this option) 3. Private parking near goround (around £2). Off site and out of the way but no security during the match. |

There are various other places to park too for the more savvy speccie, although some local knowledge is a distinct advantage in that regard. |

I like to keep my free, safe spaces to myself! Although I'm not as quick to get away now I don't have the Mitsubishi - I can't just drive over central reservations. |
