Not sure there will be too many more signings (Celtics must make a few) as clubs are finding it hard financially.

Many clubs are opting to bring through youngsters - more for financial expediency than 'player develpment'.

I think the Giants have definitely strengthened compared with 09 AND strengthened compared with most clubs.

With DG's list above there are around 40 players in (+ a few first contracts) and around 80 out. So there are a lot of players available.

Several teams will have a decent starting 17 but their squads look skinny once a few injuries occur. Ours is one with a bit more depth.

Kyle Wood can be addad to our ins. It's now official as it's in the Examiner this morning that we've signed him on a 3 year contract from Sheffield Eagles. (Plenty of ammunition there for any passing trolls I'm sure).

Obviously that will change and even the improved teams it will depend on injuries etc.

But for those teams who have got worse i would imagine there is not a lot of quality free players around or you might have to pay over the odds to get them as five teams will be chasing them.
