not the best thing ive heard today Brearley whilst its presumably not proven as yet --we seem to be unlucky with some of our signings with regard to their behavior at times There seems to be more "personal" problems withsportsmen and women than there used to be --Is it perhaps down to the way that the press "put them on pedestals" -the salries they can earn now --or just that the press are always waiting to catch "someone" out, find some skeletons in the cupboard and throw mud every chance they get ?? what d`yer think?? |

I would have thought this fell under the sub judice of the AUP. Quote:1.3. Matter which are sub judice cannot be discussed.
* Under British law when a matter becomes sub judice - from the moment a charge is filed or hearing arranged and until a resolution is reached - publishers are restricted under criminal penalty to what can be published so as not to prejudice a case. * The definition of published content includes web sites and postings on message boards. As such any discussion of ongoing cases cannot be permitted anywhere on the RLFANS network. |

The report said he was bailed by West Yorkshire Police, if he has been given Police bail then he hasn't been charged so sub judice doesn't apply. |

so far nothing has been said other than what is in the public domain. However No speculation, no allegations, no my mate told me is acceptable. In light of the fact he has been sent for a health assessment i would imagine that support rather than speculation is what is needed. I will lock the thread now and this matter is off limits until something is resolved. If anyone has anything they would like to share which may be of interest and does not break the AUP check it out with a mod before posting. Anything that can get the site in trouble can lead to permanent bans. |
