I think one great outcome of these awards will be the impact on our next licence bid. Clearly our club is perceived by the RFL as being more than just a pretty stadium. Our coaches, players and development are now being recognised as having quality. |

agree, would have to be a massive fall from grace to go from club of the year 2009 to not getting a license in the next round of bids for super league!! |

I don't think even the RFL would be so stupid as to deny a license to a club that plays decent rugby in a decent stadium in the birthplace of RL - unless they want an Irish expansion project!! I wish I felt as secure as you should feel! |

You could write your bid on a napkin - so could Saints, Leeds, Wigan, Warrington, Harlequins, The Hulls and Bradford. The rest will have to hand something in that's leather bound. |
