no this isnt another dig about how digraceful we are and should be thrown out of super league for having the gall to finish 3rd but last night.... im not knocking NB here who has become a legend already at this club
but i can see how driving the ball down the middle can work against some teams, but as we all know catalans are a massive team and once their big guys get on top its hard to get them off again. so i just wonder why we seemed to persist with 1-man drives down the middle then a little inside ball to the short side? we seemed very one dimensional last night, i thought we should have thrown the ball around a bit more, poor cudjoe and lawrence must have got frostbite out on the right, far be it for any of us to question browns tactics but i thought we got it wrong last night, surely throwing the ball around and stretching the dragons' defence would have tired their big guys out?
and while im at it, why do we always persist with that move where the full back or winger fields the ball but then dally's instead of running hard and straight upfield away from our line rather than along it?
catalans, with greenshields and pelo in particular were much more direct and made good yards and set a platform for the forwards to march upfiled time and again
any thoughts?

As a Wire fan having good banter with you guys at wembley I was cheering you on lastnight. I was amazed what has happened to your attach or lack of it. Inside pass all the time your centres/wingers never got a sniff of the ball. Very disapointing way to go out of the play off

exactly my thoughts we seemed to be going through the motions at times
no creativity, but what do you expect when you've got a very good centre playing stand off

Well they paid their money, they take their choice. At least they turned up at all, I suppose.
I went, I stayed while the very end and applauded the lads. Not for their performance on the night but for a great season overall. I don't really get why people would leave early in that particular game but each to their own.
We played too much one up stuff. We only made one break all match, which we scored from, and that was via Robinson playing a hooking role. Creativity wise we were sadly lacking and it's a mystery as to why we consistently underperform on Sky. We missed Brown, yes, but even so we were miles off the pace. I also thought Catalan basically offered up the fight and we tried to take the higher ground. We should have just knacked them and played with a bit more feeling and emotion.
On the plus side, I went to renew my ticket this morning. There was a queue, in which was only one HTFC fan. The rest were Fartown and they were all renewing. A couple of them had 3 and 5 tickets respectively from my earwigging.

well the football team regularly pull in over 10,000 crowds despite been in the 3rd tier so you tell us?
sadly it seems people will only watch us if we are doing extremely well, i think the mentality within the town is still seen as your wasting your time supporting the rugby team, yet despite how poor the football team are they still seem to pull the crowds in.very frustrating for ken davy and for us long standing supporters

i think huddersfield is a football town, with a growing rugby interest, our average gates now are catching up hopefully matching towns sooner rather than later, i think this season we have taken big steps in evening the balance up between the 2 sports in the town.
