Well despite the previous thread going nowhere, there may be some mileage in this.
How many go watch (or are involved in) amateur rugby?
I go to Underbank occasionally but usually go to watch Normanton Knights. They're 0-2 this season, losing both games at home. 18-4 up at the weekend against West Bowling but they blew it. We used to watch Oulton Raiders quite frequently and they can draw quite good crowds but Normanton always has an entertaining atmosphere.
How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Been to a few Mirfield and Donkeys matches as someone I know has been playing.
I know a few who have played locally for teams like Emley Moor, Moldgreen, Slawit and Lindley Swifts. I've even stopped and watched a couple of Lindleys games when passing the Bay Athletic pitch.

Living in Dewsbury I don't get to watch any amateur rugby in Huddersfield although I played 2 seasons at Lindley Swift about 9 years ago before breaking my arm are retiring. Played for Shaw Cross and Hanging Heaton before that, starting at 7 years old. Now I just watch my step Son play for Shaw cross under 11's, oh and the mighty Giants.
