I've Seen Hudds play every single Super league team this season and IMO Giants are no worse then many and far better than some (St Helens for example).
Good motivation to smash the Catalans on friday though.
I'm now really bored of opposition coaches/ fans claiming that Giants are guilty of excessive holding down at the play the ball.

I'd be more concerned with his own sides tactics if I were him.
I hope our lot use it as motivation.
He's inferred we spoil games and that we cheat. The guy is out of order IMO and, frankly, is a bit of a pillock. It's not as if what he's trying to do here isn't as transparent as glass.
If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
Implying our tactics are a little rough is one thing. Hes completly accusing us of cheating, which if the case was, the RFL would have long since done something.

I can see why Kevin Walters would like to see the action after the tackle over-policed, as it is something I think Hudds do very well. The thing is that it's pointless whinging (unusual for it to be before the game rather than after it, so that's something) provided Hudds do what they do within the rules. Walters seems to be saying "what they do isn't illegal but I hope they get penalised for it anyway." There are all sorts of things you can do to slow the opposition play-the-ball down legally, and Hudds do that, and other aspects of the grittier, physical stuff better than most. It's a part of the most effective defence in the league this year, and as a neutral I don't mind watching it.
As I've said before on this subject, if you lot were 12th and doing the same thing nobody would complain, so I'd take it as a compliment if I were you. For me I don't think the Giants are a particularly dirty side, but they are very physical and aggressive in their defence. Nowt wrong wi' that!
Definition of irony; the coach of the team that has topped the penalty count for last 2 years and was second the 2 years previous to that complaining about foul play.
I just hope that the editing of his comments by the author are making them seem worse than they really are because, if they're not, then he's basically said we're a bunch of cheats.
I don't think he should be allowed to say things like that in a pathetic attempt at influencing how the game will be reffed.
