Good showing in the second half I thought - just didn't take our chances and looked a little bit panicked when we got to their tryline although their goaline defence was good. Good support - well done to all of you who went over - you came over well on sky - "take my hand" etc. Ah well on to next week then. |

Your support was very good. Ours, however, was pretty terrible! Although we did make some noise this week. I think there was a sing-off going at one point. |

We lost because we could not break St He lens defence, plus we looked clueless in attack. Also the Ref gave them 2 trys IMO, a forward pass from eastmond and Pryce knock on. Shocking performance. All we want is a decent referee Well done saints anyway totally deserved. |

Robinson seemed to go missing again as he did at wembley. He has been brilliant this season for us I wonder if he can handle the big occassion. In the semi it was brown that stood up for us out of the two of them. I dint really like to find fault with our players but we our scrum half to be able to step up in these kind of games. He was not on his own last night attack wise but that is three big games he has not really shown up in. Really hope he can start to get his head round them because he is as good as anyone on his day |

I was very surprise by the amount of animosity towards Mr Silverwood las night, there's now way we can blame anyone else for the result but ourselves. We were awful in the first 25 minutes, and even when we started playing a little bit of rugby, the number of errors was far too high. That said, Saints defended well all game, making us look even more clueless in attack than we already were. |

I think the animosity was due to the fact that we got none of the 50 50s, 30 70s or 1 to 99s. Despite that we looked toothless in attack and even if saints had not been gifted two tries we would still have lost 4 points to 2. I think we had two scoring opportunities all game. I am now about to admit being sacriligeous but does anyone think that Wild should go for surgery on his knees now. I think the season has caught up with him and he looks a shadow of himself from earlier in the season. If it was not for the injuries to faiumu, kirmond, and jammer i would be tempted to rest him for the next game. |

For the last few years Wild has had problems with his knee. There's never a game goes by where he doesn't spend time on the floor needing attention to it. He always manages to be up to the challenge 2mins later though. Last night was one of those games where nothing came off even though the enthusiasm was there. Add to that that Saints defence was probably as good as it's been all season and with us missing a few players, i'd fancy our chances if we have to play them in the semis. |

I know about the forward pass try - it happened right in front of me! - but I didn't know Pryce knocked on and I could not see any sign of it when I watched the match back on Sky. For once, I think Saints got their tactics right with you guys. Instead of making the mistake of taking the ball up your middle, like we did at the Challenge Cup semi, which is going to be a loser for us because although we had two of our three props playing last night our guys still aren't as big as your guys, we hit you with the kind of defence you usually hit teams with, and we didn't stop all night. We turned defence into attack, and I think that meant you were left looking 'clueless in attack' if you like, just as we did at your hands in the semi. |
