The Club that wins each Qualifying Play Off goes straight to Qualifying Semi Final with home advantage.

Highest ranking team which wins a Qualifying Play Off is awarded the Club Call which means it can choose its opponent from the winners of either PSF.

Club Call takes place after Preliminary Semi Finals. The highest ranking team already in the Qualifying Semi Final can chose its opponents from the winners of either the Preliminary Semi Finals. The other Preliminary Semi Final winner plays away in the other Qualifying Semi Final.

Only problem with those dates is that if we remain 4th and lose against Leeds we can't have a home tie on the 26th due to Town playing Stockport which that indicates!

Is that because we are seen as a lower priority than a regular run of the mill third division football game.

I assume we'd play on the Friday then.

More likely that Football needs more than a weeks notice to change it's fixtures unlike RL!! The play off fixtures are not set in stone as far as i'm aware so as Ponner says if the scenario happened we would play on the friday!! If the RFL insist this game is played on the saturday then the Town game would have an earlier ko on the saturday as this fixture ko's at 5.30 giving an half hour turn round from the football!

Rearranging football games plays havoc with the players hairdressers and manicurists appointments.

Quite correct actually! And as it's stockport they do have a few idiots amongst their ranks! It's also in the Football league rules about rearrangements and time constraints!

I do recall though when we could've got a home tie had we beaten Hull that Town were pondering moving their game to an earlier KO so as to allow the Giants to play in the evening, that was at short notice but was discussed as the play offs commenced I think in this case it could happen again!

I really hope we don't face an Wigan esc scenario though where we have to play elsewhere!

First point I'd make albeit a key one is, we as a society seem to be allowing the 'idiots' to dictate what we do and how we do things, quite sad really.

The second point is I understand KD owns 60% of the stadium, unlike Wigan, so would be very surprised we'll get 'turfed out' of our stadium.

I guess being the 'lesser' sport we'll have to bow to the football gods here, lets win our first play off game and it'll be irrelevant
