talking to some town fans in newcatle wed night, asked them if they was going wembley sat to support the giants, couldnt believe it when they told me that town had a home game same day...you would have thought they would have moved it to sunday at least.i think the footy has let the town of huddersfield down here on such a important day for the whole town by dividing loyalties. |

Balls to em - those that want to come to Wembley will. The town fans going to watch them play Yeovil will be the bitter, Giants hating ones from Wakefield,Dewsbury etc |

Moving games wasn't really an option for them. No point complaining. |

They couldnt move the date, but they did move the time, so fair play to them imo. |

I guess our play-off game(s) will also be on a Friday night because of Town... |

No. Sky will dictate that, not HTFC. |

It's a killer that! Same happened to us last year, City were at home and just being promoted into the Premiership it was a hard decision for a lot of people. We still managed at least 30,000 for Wembley tho (and City got hammered 5-0 I think). Anyway's lads good luck tomorrow I'll be there cheering you on!! |

Thank you, a bit of balance. Town would have moved the day if they could - both the Town crowd and the amount supporting Giants at Wembley will suffer as a result but nothing could be done. I'm sure the vast majority watching Town on Saturday will be cheering on the Giants on the box and hoping to get some silverware in Huddersfield. |

Fair play to Yeovil as well. They didn't have to switch it. And it means I can get finished at the stadium and down to the pub for the final, so that's nice. |

town still reduced the prices to a fiver though which for me is taking the mickey and couldnt even mention the fact that giants were playing that day, but that because of some other event the kick off has been moved forward 3 hours, and before anyone says i am a town hater i did used to be a season ticket holder at town, and still go sometimes. |
